Stone bought for 1 euro and drawing of the stone.
The work consists of a stone Morita bought from a stone vending machine in a mineral store, a piece of sandpaper he bought at Bauhaus, and a frame made from the back of the sandpaper.

Morita made it a routine for this work to buy a stone once a day from a vending machine near his studio. The stone that comes out is random. He would observe the shape of the stone he bought that day, and using that stone, he would draw a copy of that shape on sandpaper.

As he paints, the stone is scraped away and gradually loses its original shape. Eventually, the original shape is no longer recognizable.
