An act of transformation  




We are able to share what we have seen and experienced with others through words, pictures and photos. However, there are some things that cannot be communicated through these mediums. 



This is "reality." 



An important theme in my own work is "the real (reality) and the false (unreality)." The most important characteristic of "reality" is that it cannot be preserved in a material form. You can't keep it somewhere or carry it around with you. It is, after all, only a "moment." I think it is something close to the concept of "soul". It is not scientifically defined where in the body it is, but it is present in the senses. If it does not exist as a substance, how can it even be called a "reality"? Is it possible to transfer it to another medium? I believe that art is a means to visualize or empathetically explain its existence.One of the ways I do this is through the "act of transformation" during the process of creating my work. Sometimes this is done through the lens of a camera, sometimes through the substitution of materials through molding.

Eine Akt der Transformation 

Wir sind in der Lage, das, was wir gesehen und erlebt haben, mit anderen durch Worte, Bilder und Fotos zu teilen. Es gibt jedoch einige Dinge, die über diese Medien nicht mitgeteilt werden können. 

Das ist die “Realität”. 

Ein wichtiges Thema in meiner eigenen Arbeit ist "das Echte (Realität) und das Falsche (Irrealität)”. Die wichtigste Eigenschaft der “Realität” ist, dass sie nicht in einer materiellen Form erhalten werden kann. Man kann es nicht irgendwo aufbewahren oder mit sich herumtragen. Es ist ja nur ein “Moment". Ich denke, es ist etwas, das dem Konzept der "Seele" nahe kommt. Es ist wissenschaftlich nicht definiert, wo im Körper es sich befindet, aber es ist in den Sinnen präsent. Wenn sie als Substanz nicht existiert, wie kann sie dann überhaupt als "Realität" bezeichnet werden? Ist es möglich, sie auf ein anderes Medium zu übertragen? Ich glaube, dass die Kunst ein Mittel ist, um ihre Existenz zu visualisieren oder einfühlsam zu erklären.Ich tue dies unter anderem durch den "Akt der Transformation" während des Entstehungsprozesses meiner Arbeit. Manchmal geschieht dies durch die Linse einer Kamera, manchmal durch die Substitution von Materialien durch Abformung.
